Enjoy locally inspired cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and cuisines representing all Chicago has to offer. Peruse dazzling packages in our annual silent auction, then tantalize your taste buds in a heated dessert competition of Chicago's top pastry chefs with Amanda Rockman of Balena & Top Chef Just Desserts, Kate Neumann of Lula Cafe, Meg Galus of NoMI & Star Chefs' 2011 Winner, Elissa Narrow of Vie & Perennial Virant, and Sarah Jordan of GT Fish & Oyster & 2012 Jean Banchet "Rising Pastry Chef" award winner.
The evening's event will be full of surprises, continuing until midnight with more music and dancing. Late night bites will be catered by staple Chicago establishments - Mercadito, Paris Club, HUB 51, Belly Q, and many more - to keep the good times rolling.
All proceeds will benefit Sinai Children's Hospital.
About the Friends of Sinai Children
Established in 2004, Friends of Sinai Children is an associate board of young professionals dedicated to developing resources and opportunities that enhance the quality of life of children touched by Sinai Children's Hospital.
Sinai Children's Hospital, the only children's hospital on Chicago's West Side, provides health care to underserved children who are at greatest risk for chronic health problems, physical and emotional abuse and neglect. As part of the Sinai Health System, Mount Sinai's Emergency Room is only one of four Level 1 adult and pediatric trauma centers in the city of Chicago. Sinai Children's Hospital also has a 35 bed neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) to treat the smallest and sickest babies, some no more than 1 lb. when born. In addition, Sinai receives transfers from other hospitals that are not able to treat critical pediatric patients.
With your support, Friends of Sinai Children will be one step closer to purchasing a $125,000 Neonatal Transport Bed to provide for the safe journey of 50-60 newborns each year from neighboring hospitals to Sinai Children's Hospital.
